Conflict materials and cobalt policy
Link Supply ApS maintains a clear policy to avoid sourcing conflict minerals and cobalt from conflict-affected and high-risk areas. We also require our suppliers to ensure that the materials and components they provide do not originate from such sources.
The following metals are defined as conflict minerals:
- Tin
- Tantalum
- Tungsten
- Gold
- Any derivatives of these metals
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that our products do not directly or indirectly finance armed groups or contribute to human rights violations through the mining or trading of minerals from conflict-affected areas.
We expect our suppliers to take reasonable steps to ensure responsible sourcing within their supply chains and to establish policies and management systems aligned with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Mineral Supply Chains.
CMRT Reporting
Suppliers may provide a Company-Level CMRT (Conflict Minerals Reporting Template). In such cases, the information reflects the supplier’s overall sourcing practices across their entire organization, rather than specific products supplied to Link Supply.
This means that if any products within a supplier’s organization contain 3TG (Tin, Tantalum, Tungsten, or Gold), the CMRT will indicate “Yes”, even if the specific products supplied to us do not contain these materials.
Because of this structure, company-level CMRT reports may appear broader than expected when compared to product-specific declarations.
If a product-level CMRT is required, please contact us.
Supplier Expectations
We expect our suppliers to take appropriate measures to ensure that the materials and products delivered to Link Supply do not originate from conflict-affected or high-risk areas and do not contribute to human rights violations.
